Default Federal Fusion bullets released to reloaders

https://www.westernwhitetail.com/fus...onent-bullets/

It appears federal fusion bullets are finally available for reloading. I'm sure they will eventually make their way up to Canada. I've personally found them to be very accurate and tough enough for deer through moose. Our group has 3 moose in the last 3 seasons all shot with fusion.

Agreed. Very accurate factory loads. I'd buy them if they are properly priced.
Thanks for posting.

I've never seen them for sale. I've been hoping that they would make them available for a few years now. I have a rifle that I reload for that I haven't been able to duplicate how accurate it shoots with factory fusions.

Happy for the reloading crowd on this. My 7MM always liked these. I wonder if there will be more interest in slightly smaller calibres?

There were a few "issues" with the deep curl...unfortunately.

Like what? I shot a pile of animals with the 160gr 7mm and they worked textbook well.

It is my understanding that the deepcurls went off market because they took to long to make and were cutting ingredients the mfg time of their plated pistol bullets. They stopped running the lines for component rifle bullets until they could rejig the mfg process to be more profitable. They are the same bullet as used in fusion branding. The only failure I know of was a 6-700yard bull elk where the fusion factory failed to expand. Said bullet cut an artery so the bull was recovered and the bullet looked like you could reload it if you wanted

Good all around bullet. If price is right they will be popular.

If they are priced like the last ones I bought are it will be my go to bullet.

Great balance of weight retention and expansion. They were very accurate in my rifles.

Found the 243 factory round as accurate as any reload and never to use a second shot as these semi bonded bullets worked as claimed.
Would like to see a 375 bullet.

They have worked awesome for me on 2 nice mature Alberta whiteys out of my 25-06. Recovered one bullet on a buck shot fully frontal with head down feeding 125 yard shot off the bipod. Bullet punched through neck bones, lungs, ribs, and then found just underneath hide. 89grains retained out of the 120grain bullet. The other deer was shot broadside at 200ish yards and passed through. They work great. P

Had the same issue with a Browning 270 WSM about 10 years ago. As hard as I tried, I struggled to match the accuracy of the Fusion factory ammo. Drove me batsh$t crazy !!
