Sorry Cover, I missed your question.
She is out of C. Sharpshooter (Eli) and C. Fantasy Playgirl (Maty). My wife named her Keva, but I have started calling her "Beezy"...... short for Beelzebub (friggin little demon!).

excellent.....when I was wanting my next PP last year I had my heart set on an Eli pup... but ended up bringing home another Tukr pup , although you can't go wrong with any of Bob's pairings. Bob is sure one of the greatest dog people of our day.Let me know if you want to head out some day. Nice hat by the way , but I thought you had to buy three PP's to get a hat ?

Oh, I think 2 should offset the cost of the hat. Lol.
VislasRok is going to come out from Scrathybush for the opener. I will be trying to get out a fair bit through the season. Let me know if you are coming down.

Question about your Small Munsterlander: do they point or are they more of a flusher? I know the Large Munsterlander is considered a versatile breed and included in NAVHDA's breed list, but IIRC the Small is not. Just curious.

Here is one from Wednesday. Got out with Parker for a couple hours and managed a few birds. He has been limping a bit lately so I figured retrieving ducks would be easier on his shoulder / leg then running flat out searching for Huns.
The goose was an interesting bonus; had just shot a duck and Parker was just returning from the retrieve when are heard some quiet honking coming from behind the trees. Gave a little cackling sound on the goose call and suddenly they were right there. Shot was 25 yards or so and I didn't have time to change ammo. I had #2s in the gun so what the heck. Goose just folded at the shot and crashed into the cattails. I was quite surprized when I popped the case out and it read #4. A pellet had completely snapped the humerus! Impressive for #4 steel.
Wouldn't want to try it again though.
Having the goose for Thanksgiving dinner.

thanks, they had so much fun they screamed all the way home. My dark haired boy was singing hunting hunting hunting as we walked along...then a duck flew over head and he pointed his gun at it and went pow pow pow haha makes a dad proud.

Thanks. SM is another 'continental' pointing breed and is on the NAVHDA list too. It's the smallest German pointing dog.

Kimber got her first two ruffed grouse a few weeks ago, we took a picture but she so focused on looking for more. We're still working out the kinks of birding. But we love her to death!

Out of all the pics I take in the field only about 30% have the dog in em and of those only about 5% of her actually sitting still lmao, After all the birds shes been on (around 50 kills) Iv only managed to keep her still for a goose and 2 ducks. But that was after 6-8 hours of hunting lmao

That's hillarious.
I feel the only thing I have done a great job of with Tug is teaching him to stay and whoa. Mind you, when he is staying, he looks like a coiled spring ready to explode the entire time.

Now that shes starting to get the big picture figured out, im sure I will be able to get better pics as time goes on. Oh and they are with my Iphone so the quality isnt there. But I hope to have great pics in a week from now when pheasant opens up

Somehow I have to get a pic of Tucker's face with birds overhead. Had him in a blind yesterday with maybe 1000 ducks up and circling over and landing in front of us about 1/2hr before we could shoot. And for only his second hunt, he figured out watching the sky and spotting singles coming in behind us.

Nice Thread Guys! Love all the pictures and stories. Heres a few of my Lab Lucy who was born in May. Hoping to have her ready to hunt by next season.
And Heres one of my daughter my wife took about a year ago. Hopefully she grows up to be a great hunter!
