Be advised that there has been a fire in Shaw Court in Calgary where IBM and www.albertarelm.com are housed. Until the extent of the damage is known no timeframe can be given as to when www.albertarelm.com will be back online. Further information will be posted here as it becomes available.

I hope they manage to get back online before midnight or else there may be a revolt and chaos in the streets based on a few of the threads on this forum. People are going to want their draw results on time or even early.

Maybe this was F&W's way of dealing with the priority caps. Okay, we lost all the data....everyone back to zero.....lol

I'm sure we would all be honest and let them know exactly how much priority we have if it comes down to it.

Our office overlooks it from a block away. There is a pile of fire trucks and they started showing up just after 1:00. No visible smoke or anything like that but definitely not a routine fire drill.

Heard there was a small explosion. Also heard that 911 is down too in parts of Calgary. Internet is also down in much of downtown.

The email everyone just got from them states they are unsure if results will be available tomorrow. May be delayed. What bad timing!

E-mail you got was from F&W in Edmonton. Fire affected IBM in Calgary.

It's not F&W office on fire, rather, it's the building that houses IBM who control the albertarelm website.

My guess is that they will be available on time but F&W just wants to put out the what if email that they may not be. The Fire would have been localized to one spot and I imagine that the IBM offices were not affected. They just may not be let back in depending on when the fire is resolved which would result in them being delayed due to no one working in the office.

Being a tech based company I would expect they have a disaster recovery plan for outages.

I have to laugh that they call these EARLY results. Some day they might get it together.

i think it might start a riot...

but could be good for the zones that would take you 200 years to draw a tag
