Default Battle Lake

Anyone have any luck or tips for Battle Lake. I fished in the south end for about 6 hours today with only one pike and one other bite...

My only tip would be to watch out for thin ice on that lake. There are lots of springs.

Last year a truck went through the ice between the point at the end of the campground and the youth camp across the lake. There's a few springs I know about to the east of the campground along the north shore and probably tons I don't know about.

As far as fishing. I do really well there for nice walleye in the summer, but have not had much success there on the hard water.

Good luck and keep dry.

Was there in the end of september and the natives were netting. I know it really hurts the lake. And we had absolutly no luck that day. 1 pike and 4 walleye's in 8hrs.
