Default Superstore Smelts

FYI.
For those who uses the Superstore smelts, the recent batch size is noticeably larger. The average size is above 11 cm. and 2 lbs for $8.99 is a pretty fair deal.

I've only been to the superstore close to my place. Look in the frozen seafood section.

I know the superstore in Country Hills and in Huntington Hills has them! They are great and way cheaper then the ones meant for fishing!

as far as i know they sell them in all the superstores. i prefer them to minnows and so do the pike on the nsr. they also sell them fresh which stay on the hook longer. both are a good deal

We have a lot of waters in the south that don't allow "baitfish" (minnows). Therefore we have no choice but to fish with smelts, herring and anchovies if we want to use bait.
