Default Your Favourite Oldman River Flies?

What are your favourite flies to use this time of year on the Oldman?
Your standard Bow type flies? Prince San Juan BWO etc
Or something different? Like a custom made fly? it seems slower this time of year. May seems to pick up a lot!

Anyone here like to tie and invent/design their own flies?

I fish my own flies. Gives me a chance to make standard patterns my own. Not great for this time of year on the Oldman, but I chuck chubby chernobyls, rogue stones, fat alberts. Might be slow right now because of the cold, wet spring we're having?? Try fishing slow and deep and in the afternoon when the water has warmed up a bit.

Only time I've fished the Oldman has been in august. Chernobyl ants, hoppers were deadly.
