Personally, I think it's the fastest and cheapest out there. Before we moved, we had it. Never an issue with loss of signal or downtime, and really quick. Service was second to one.
Then we moved and their tower wouldn't reach us. Crap. They even offered to help us locate a tower to put in our yard to install their equipment. But we decided to go with xplornet, regret that decision. Expensive, signal is slow, and we have to phone to reset our account or whatever the **** it is about once a month. MCSnet is an excellent rural service.

Using it also, seems to have some really slow times in the evenings for some reason...other than that no complaints

Thanks guys.
I booked an install this month. Have a tower approx. 1 km away
70 gig for 60$ a month is considerably cheap for rural service.
Was using telus smart hub, spend 100$ a month and can't use Netflix or Skype. Bandwidth would amount to crazy bills.
Anyone around new Sarepta/hay lakes area?

MCSNET is ****. I've had telus and shaw in the past and they were exponentially better. Now that I live in the country where MCSNET is only available, I'm forced to have it. Lot of dead times, the top speed is ok at best when it's at its best. If you stream or game, have fun with the lag.
Play around with your router settings when you get it, you can squeeze a little more speed/reliability out of it. I have the fastest package from them too and I'm scared to do a speed test because I know that it would come back way slower than what is advertised.

What sort of changes did u make to your router?
You must be far away from a tower then....

My tower is 1 mile from the house. Even my parents have it and it sucks for them too. It's a common complaint. You have to change MTU settings, thresholds, etc. Google how to do it.
