Default Saskatchewan Lake

Not looking for honey holes but wanting to take 3 or four days in first part of June to do some walleye, pearch and pike within 6 or 7 hours of Edmonton.Thought northern Sask would be a good place to start. A nice spot to camp would be great some where that you dont have to take the boat out every night, if you have any thoughts please let me know. Thanks

both are great options. tobin is a spectacular fishery. lac des isles is good in the meadow lake prov park lots of big pike in there. there are eyes in there but seem to be hard to catch. also a little lake right across the road from the campground with some perch in it. but again anywhere in that area is nice

Thanks guys!I had thought about Meadow Lake Park, I would prefer a better walleye lake than pike lake but which one would be the pick out of the meadow lake park area? I wouldnt mind even getting alittle further away maybe up towards the north east. how far is Tobin from Edmonton?

Default Pinehouse

about 30min from pinehouse is Sandy Lake.
From it you can access Churchill River system.
Miles and miles of river fishing with loads of amazing walleye fishing.
Most common 3- 4 lbs, our largest was 9.
Plenty small sauger for a change.
Access to, 2 or 3 lakes where large pike can be caught.
Check out Churchill Wilderness Camps, Norm runs great outfit.
Well worth the $ he charges.
Fishing River is great, you can get out of wind, evenings are always like glass.
Have been going pretty much every yesr for last 10-12.

I fish Dorey 2 hrs NE of meadow

Fantasic pike
Big walleyes but numbers are questionable but growing
Never caught an perch but ledgend has it they are there

Not sure about camping but cabins are available.

It's a big lake 18k at the widest, so you need to pull out every night. and you run the risk of the wind keeping you off the lake unless your boat is big.
