hey... well you can get onto the lake with a good 4x4 truck..... but you would be breaking trail the whole time... my buddy just went there this last weekend and went on by skidoo.... just a hint if you have to leave your vehicle and walk on make sure you leave a case of beer or a 26 on it or you'll tires will get slashed and or windows smashed out.... the locals are pretty protective of "their Lake" ....
Red is probably right about access by truck. That lake is lightly fished during the winter. Most times I've been there with a 4x4 Im breaking trail.
On the tire slashing, that is exaggerated. I love how people on boards embelish this stutff....kind of funny and very sad all at the same time. The South side launch is just fine for parking. I've left lots there many, many times and never an issue.
