buying non res tags in BC

I'm planning a trip down to the fernie area for a elk hunting and just seeing if anyone has bought non res tags in BC before, I know me and my buddy got to apply for the hunter hose lic, but can i just walk into a hunting store in fernie that sells tag and get a non res tag? once i get appoved to hunt there

Last licence I bought in BC had to come from a government office but that was a couple years ago.

I think you need to buy it from the Fish and Wildlife office.

Your buddy can go to Govt Access center with your permit to accompany form and purchase your licence and tags for you. When you get here all you have to do is fill out your info in the licence book and sign it and you are good to go
Done this a few times as its not always easy to hit the office if you get here on a weekend, so I asked and the girl said they treat it the same as an outfitter picking up client tags

Just so you know or you might already the host must have had a hunting licenses for 3 years before he can bring you in to hunt.
