Default Costco Pontoon boats any good?

The wife is looking at the Cimarron Pontoon boat from Costco.ca http://www.costco.ca/Cimarron-Pontoo....10347040.html

Fast and lightweight, this 2.4 m (8-ft.) pontoon boat packs a lot of features. A folding padded seat with a rigid frame provides comfort and efficient rowing. There is a large rear storage platform and dual armrest storage includes large central pockets, two sloped gear pockets and outside mesh pockets for small items or drinks.

Features:

•Detachable foam fly patch
•Fabric rear storage platform
•Comfortable seat with extra tall backrest conforms to the body
•Powder-coated steel tube frame
•Footrests adjust to a variety of leg lengths
•Tow rings
•Steel oar locks
•158.8 kg (350 lb.) capacity, river rating class I
•Includes: Rugged 2-piece 1.8m (6-ft.) aluminium oars

Specifications:
•Dimensions (L x W x H): 243.8 cm x 137.2 cm x 73.7 cm; (96 in. x 54 in. x 29 in.), Weight: 17 kg (37.5 lb.)

Warranty:
•2 years

Does anyone have any experience with these ? Shes just getting hooked on flyfishing and would love to try a pontoon boat without breaking the bank for now.

How is the seat etc ? Would we be better off spending a little more and going with one of the other models ?

I picked up the Wilderness 13 for $319.00 in store at Costco and I like it. I mounted a 30lbs thrust motor in it and it is a bit cramp to steer but it works!

They are a choppy toon and don't paddle to well compared to a smooth curved model. You will be close to wheeleying with a battery n motor on there. If you only get out once in a while then go for it . If ur seriously hitting the water then spend more.
