Question Question regarding the Regulations book?

Hi all,

I was curious about why certain species on certain lakes is in bold while the rest are all regular typeface?

The best example of this is Wabamun in PP2. All species are regular but Burbot are bolded? I know Wabamun is catch and release only but I'm just using it as an example.

Thanks,
Landon

Burbot has a limit under province wide regulations and limit listed so it is, in fact a game fish.

The only "special" regulation regarding burbot is, under the regulations it is the only gamefish which you are allowed to let rot/spoil or etc....

"Additional Restrictions:
l The edible flesh of legally kept game fish must not be wasted,
destroyed, spoiled or abandoned (this does not apply to burbot)."

I think this is a regulation originally put into the regulations for net fishermen ....... who are also allowed to waste burbs.

I believe they often do that to emphasize new regulations. Not sure if that's the case here.

All the water bodies that have new regulations that year are listed in bold type face. Perhaps if the regulations for a particular species are altared within a particular waterbody than the species is bolded?
