Default Starting up my professional gunsmithing career

Hi everyone. It's been increasingly difficult to find good local gunsmiths so I've decided to start my gunsmithing career, servicing all of western Canada. Here are a few of my custom offerings. As you can clearly see from my product pictures, I only use the finest materials and workmanship.

I'm not taking orders yet as I have to update my website to be able to handle the hoardes of customers that will undoubtedly be flocking in. Looking forward to sharing my expertise with fellow shooters!

Duct tape is good but if you want to be a real expert gunsmith you must use gorilla tape and gorilla glue

Smile I've been duped!

Here I was going to encourage you in your new business because the fellow that I used in Lacombe has retired. If in fact this is both a clever joke and the announcement of a new gunsmith let me know.

I'd like your card too.

For what people think they should pay a gunsmith. I think your work has a market out there.

Don't confuse me for some fly-by-night hack. If you'll look closer you'll see black gorilla tape with a color-matched foam tactical noodle cheek riser on the last picture. And those custom scope levels are attached with gorilla super glue. It has bits of real gorilla in it so unfortunately I can't ship stateside

My most humble apologies sir, upon closer inspection I can clearly see the craftsmanship and attention to detail

I believe I've seen some of your clients display your work at the gun range on occasion. The creativity is quite amazing. Those square nut bolt knobs are especially ingenious as are the braided bungie cord slings you sell.

I'm probably going to have to delete this thread if you're not a sponsor....

Edit: I've been contacted by numerous gunsmith sponsors on the forum and they politely requested I leave the thread up. Something about more work for them??

Bah, everyone knows that the Princess Auto zip ties crack in our cold-weather hunting conditions here in Alberta.

I like the rubber coated flashlight idea. Kind of came together as as dual purpose tool didn’t it? I mean you should be able to use it as a barrel tuner no? Changing the pressure with a couple extra wraps of gorilla tape is brilliant for keeping weight down. Just swap it out with a laser pointer for night hunts.

You know, a guy could even hollow out the buttstock enough to hold the charging cord for the light and a can of Skoal long cut, and slap on a door hinge for the butt pad to close.

WOW! EPIC idea!!
Who needs a fancy Cortina tuner, I would never have thought of that!!
And the butt trap idea, that is really " thinking outside the box"!
