Smile Coal lake, North or South?

Never been there before and plan to try a few casts this weekend.

Was told I can fish shore overthere, but dont know which side?

North or South?

well ither or north shore runs on sec hwy 616 . Boat launch is deasent , if your launching your boat, and fishing from shore best bet is the north shore keep in mind theres a power line that runs under the water out about 10 to 15 feet from shore . I offen see many people get caught up in this loseing there tackle. There are some big big big fish to be caught make sure you have you pliars and jaw spreaders. Good luck have fun and don't forget your sun screen and smelts.

North has the better access for shore fishing. Some good fishing right along the hwy.

I dont have a boat so probably will try shore casting.
