Default Forest Lake Sask

Anyone here fished Forest for lakers? thinking about heading up there towards the end of august and give the downriggers a try. was wondering what a guy expect for sizes of of trout in a typical trip??

patterson lake area north of the clearwater, fished lots in the area before just never knew until recently how to get a hold of the outfitter at forest.

went up the end of June & had a great time with the most lakers we have ever caught up there . been there eight times . Lakers were only 20 ft down then & len5 of diamonds , williams blue & silver where the best . Two 11 ,12 lbs where the bigest lakers ..

i just fished La Plonge south of there and the lakers were in about 70ft of water, i would imagine by the end of august early sept they will be getting ready to spawn on the shores.

Was up a couple years ago it was decent lots of lakers nothing of any size though...like Mongo said the #4 five of diamonds does it all in those lakes i tried everything and went back to it
