Just wondering how its been any big jacks left? Have the perch got any bigger?

from what i heard theres nothing in the lake anymore someone needs to go and see im almost tempted to

did they not just dump a whole crap load of walleye in there? I remember reading about it.

Yup...then the lake winter killed as it's prone to do...

pretty sad actually - what a waste of resources to stock a lake that is prone to winter kill ............ makes zero sense.

They do it with trout all the time...it's not all that different.

That being said, those fish could have been put to much better use by being stocked in a lake like Wab or Isle where they would at least have a chance.

Hasse seems like they just chucked a bunch of random fish in there to see what was going to happen.

its a genetic experiment They are trying to get toothy trout and insect eating pike or something in the middle

how could this lake be suffering so bad i remember it being a very good lake for some real nice trout and perch what has changed i get that the perch infested it and all the fish died but if they are all dead why cant it handle fish again it does have some descently deep spots on it

So I am gonna be wasting my time if I try fishing this lake?

I am camped down the road at Spring and want to hit all the local lakes.

Any advice on other lakes that hold pike? Decent pike? Other than Wab.

Lac Ste Anne. Talk is always about Wab because it's C&R but Lac Ste Anne has been C&R for pike for quite some time now and there are some monsters in there. Good luck!
