Default So I went fishing, and actually took some photo's

Been meaning to put these up for a few days now, but better late then never.

Headed out last Friday to one of my favorite spots

It's not a hidden gem or anything, but it sure is a beauty. Was really windy that evening but still managed to catch some.

First Cast

Last time I was here, I caught 2 of those. I have a real dislike of P-rigs when a slip sinker rig is less harmful and cheaper in the long run. Anyways, like I said it was pretty windy and I missed quiet a few hits and went though a couple minnows before I landed this beauty.

Yea, bit on the skinny side but it had some good length and put up a nice little fight.

Caught this little guy on the next cast just as my weight settled in the slack water.

Landed this one after a few more stolen minnows and a tree branch, sorry no pictures of the branch, next time.

Well the wind really started to howl after that couldn't really feel anything so I packed up and headed home. Was a C&R day since they were all on the skinny side.

Thanks for the report and pics on what looks like a decent trip. Always nice to be out and about fishing.

Not gonna say where on here, it would most likely upset many of the locals. It's a small hole and usually busy so getting that spot is more a matter of luck. Left the city real early one morning to fish there, only to find that spot, the one across the trib, and the next two pull outs packed.
