Default Fuel sending unit

Well looks like my sending unit is on the fritz

Fill the tank up and the guage shows half so I am positive it is the sending unit.

Does not look like a real difficult job anyone know if there is one available locally in Calgary area? If not I can always order one on line.

THANKS

Are you able to remove the wires and try to jump the wires together and as long as there is no ECM on the circuit the gauge should read full.

If the sending unit is easy to remove just take it out and manually move the float and see what the gauge is reading.

It is on my Crestliner and the gauge is moving so I am 100% sure it is the sending unit.

Saw a few videos on utube so it is not a difficult fix just hoping I could find one in stock locally so I could get it done asap.

If you can pull the sending unit out you might be able to match it up

Princess auto might have one in surpluses

Or ufa for a tractor

A sending unit is just a reostat

You can also test it by manually moving the rod. Or just crossing the wires then it will tell u if your gauge is working right
