Default Smallest Fish You Caught?

With all the fish nice fish pics on here this summer, thought I'd tip the table and see about the little guys, any pics of your small ones out there? LoL

I'll start - some kind of lake minnow on a size 14 bead head prince I tied!

This is an old one, a fair caught walleye on a Len Thompson 5 o Diamonds where the Sturgeon meets the NSR. Some real monsters out there. Check out this one. Makes RavYak's Perch look like a monster!

Hey, foul hooking doesn't count :P.

Those little guys are longer then you first think too, I was blown away to learn mine was 3 inches long. Yours looks to be about as long as your pinky finger from the first joint to the knuckle which for me is 2 3/4 inches.

Edit: Just looking at my picture closer it is pretty much to scale if you expand it to full size. Both lefty and Brandon's might just have me beat but I actually hooked mine in the lip using a small hook with a maggot as bait.

I believe it is a spot tail shiner that got in the way of my fly when I was stripping it through a minnow school for pike.

Anyone know if that guy is a whitefish or some sort of baitfish? Almost looks like it could be a whitefish although I haven't seen what a whitefish minnow looks like to compare.

If that beast would of went into a 'Death Spin', I could of had the skin on my thumb scratched open.

The other one was shorter than my crawler harness, that was amusing.

I haven't caught one that small but those little guys have razor sharp teeth. I think I would almost rather lip a 20 incher.

We used to catch minnows all the time when we were younger and spent most of the summer at the cabin. It all started with jigging for perch with just 6' of line, a small j-hook and earth worms from grandma's garden. Often we'd have the line out just waiting on the perch to show up and the shiners would get there first and start stealing the worm. After we caught the first shiner it became a game to see who could catch the most in a day. Caught many in the 1.5-2" range. It seemed they always helped draw in the attention of the perch, and once the perch showed up the shiners would finally **** off.
