Default Wabamun Lake boat launches

Hi all,

Does anyone know of available boat launches on the West side of Wabamun (near Seba Beach)? Google tells me there's about 20 different launches at Wabamun, but I only know of 2 (Provincial Park and the town).

Only public launches with parkkng are town and park.

Well, when I googled it there was an indepth study which said :

"There are over twenty boat launch locations around the lake (refer to Map 4 on page 10), varying in their level of development and launching conditions."

But when I googled the town it said there were only 2 active launches. I was hoping there was a secret underground launch you pro fishers were secretly hoarding :-)

There are a few launches around. Sailing club, 2 private launches between there and Fallis, Fallis townsite, Seba and a few others.

Unfortunately, parking is not available at any of these as far as I know.

Parking is the main issue as Seba doesn't have parking anymore and Fallis has no parking along the beach/launch, the launches at Seba and Fallis are extremely shallow too and not good for big boats.

I have never been to the sailing club to know if there is parking there or not.

I was amazed at how high the water level was at wabamun this year compared to the last few! Launching at seba beach is a lot better than it has been in years! Unfortunately the town is no longer allowing parking of boat trailers so unless you know someone who will
Let you park on their property then you are out of luck! Fortunately for me, my sis and bro in law are in the process if building there retirement home there!

Well if you'd like to raise your karma for the fish gods to bless you, maybe you can hook me up with the occasional parking

Hmmmm....would seba beach or fallis allow regular vehicle parking if one had a kayak or other small watercraft?

I believe that the signs in town state - no trailer parking! There would be no problem if you were just parking your vehicle with no trailer! Good luck!

I know that this is a necrothread - but it appears that the South launch is a "go":

Also, the Seba launch has been closed for a while now.
