Default Just a few ice fishing pics

We made a few trips out in search of Lakers this past winter. Generally the weather was alright, and we mostly had the lake to ourselves ( I think we saw one other ice hut on one of our trips). Mostly we set up in 100' of water, and generally the thermocline was at about 60'. The only activity we found was at the thermocline or right on the bottom. White jigs with a bit of bacon fat was the best lure ( moose meat works too, but bacon is a bit better)

Only one Burbot all winter

Chicken skewers and bacon on the Mr Heater

Some days were better than others

Just mixing it up a bit, and I forgot to post them before now. The Pike/Walleye post i made yesterday kinda reminded me about a few other trips
