Going to float the Red Deer river for brown trout in the next 2 weeks. What section of the river should I fish? Put in and take out? I don't expect anyone to point me to the fish. I just have a little amount of time and don't want to wast it over no fish sections of the river. Thank you so much.
Anywhere between dickson dam and red deer, or even past red deer for a little ways but the city and up would be your best bet. Put ins at dickson, innisfail, penhold, fort normandeau (for going through town) I would float from dickson to innisfail, Or penhold to red deer. Give yourself a full day for either with a few stops
