What a brute!
Hello again all.
Just wanted to share another picture of a brute of a wolf I caught this past weekend. I've gotten 17 wolves in the past 3 years with the heaviest being 68pounds. This weekend I caught another 2. A female which was 87 pounds and this male at 95 pounds! Guessing in could have been the alpha pair?

wolf
Uke, that wolf looks bigger than you. Nice catch, be careful on trapline, his brother might try to eat you. Well done. PS you could be catching some of the larger northern wolves that can come in over 100lbs in future.

Nice! Good work. They were eating well, that’s for sure.

Still lots of wolves to go out there!
Bios are working out of Calling Lake again this year with helicopters.
They located a pack of 15 behind the air strip and have collared some for study, according to the locals.
Hopefully these are vegetarian wolves, as they will be eating a lot of game back there if they are not. Not a lot of caribou back there, so I hope he wolves understand the rules of not eating caribou.
