Default Pike in south calgary

Hey i am new to the site, and this is my first post. I have looked around but haven't found anything about my question so decided to start a thread. I fish the bow river a lot in south calgary, from 22x and downwards. I met a man last night who claimed he was catching pike out of the ponds in the rotary park below cranston beside the highway. access through mackenzie meadows. was wondering if anyone else has as well. as far as i know they were just storm runoff and man made wetlands. if anyone knows otherwise it'd be great to know.
Cheers

There's a side channel stormwater slough that is just south of the 22x bridge on the chapparal side. I've noticed pike in there. Not sure if there's water in there right now but check it out.
