When you have a minute, could you please tell me:

1) Overall length?

2) Blade length?

3) Blade width?

Very much appreciated!...
Thanks! Yep when I get home late this afternoon I'll take a look for you

My latest knife is an LT Wright 'Large nothern hunter' in AEB-L. I've yet to use it in the field so can't comment on it much other than that it sits really well in the hand and the quality is very high on these knives. In the second picture it's beside my other LT Wright which is a Lagom bush knife. This maker doesn't seem to get much attention up here, but they produce really good stuff. I recommend checking them out.

Default Knife

Came across this old Grohmann knife. Was thinking of sending it in to be refurbished, but I think it may cost more than the knife is worth. Has anyone used this service from Grohmann?

It recently refurbished this old, well used, and abused old knife. The blade was rusted and had a few knicks. The handle was a worn out leather ring type. Replaced it with a elk handle. Put a new edge on it, and polished it. This little beauty no has many more years to go...

Anything Havalon, I use the Piranta. Makes processing meat fun and they're pretty cheap for what you get.

Well, after thinking long and hard about my order from Crotts, and talking with Dan, I completely changed the design of knife I am ordering. Heís gonna start making it this week or next. Iím very excited!

I dare say this thread has turned into many orders from many custom knifemakers which in and of itself is a damn good thing!

Might sell some gear and order another custom from Tim Olt in Michigan. A Loveless Drop Point Hunter. We will see though. Gotta explain this one to the wife still. LOL.

What is he doing with the semi skinner that you originally ordered? :-)

Did I mention that Coiloil was 100% correct? There is not a game/field knife design that is better. :-) Dozierís semi is a dandy as well.

I have even more reasons than he has mentioned as to why. If I get a chance tonight Iíll add to the list.

Call and ask if you can add one on to Dean and my order. You are likely a preferred customer now

Obsessed;
What handle are you getting? If it is antler then ok. But if it is anything else, looking into "scalloping" (Clint calls it flint knapping).... I know it is a personal thing, but after using mine over the last two years, I am glad he did it for me. My knife doesn't slip in my hand when cold or wet...

Truth be known, he has since scalloped two other of my handles.

What steel?

It will be a beauty for sure......

It will be g10 scales w yellow and black liners. Clint is going to put in the rough shape then ill do any finishing touches for my personal grip

I couldnt decide between s90v or magnacut so i asked him to surprise me lol....pretty sure its magnacut
Grip will have a similar shape to this sketch. Thicker on the front left ( thumb rest) and scalped behind that to be able to index well when using my index finger on the jimping. I changed the grip slightly from a crotts to have slightly more curve which will help alleviate wrist tension.
