Default 300 WSM Factory AMMO

Question for ya, I own a Winchester 300WSM and have been using Winchester's 180gr power point consistently taking Elk, Antelope, moose, sheep, goat & deer with it. Has anyone used a 150gr, 160gr, 170gr?? factory ammo and have had success with it on the types of animals I have harvested in the past? I really do not know if my recoil would be reduced(probably makes sense) but was curious about other different types and brands I can be aware of and then practice on the range with them. With two small kids, Handloading out of the question at this time but could be down the road with proper set up in the house.

Thanks for your help.

Any well constructed bullet from a 300WSM will do the trick just fine.

I shoot 140gr out of a 7mm-08AI and have zero issues as my all-around rifle for Alberta....

I've had 2 300wsm's now that don't like anything lighter than 180 gr.-(these are handloads though). If the 180's are working for ya then just stick with them.
