Yup, when shortmags.org was on the go, there were numerous TC owners who tried the WSM route, Bullberry had heavy duty pins and such for sale.
NONE of the owners that I can recall continued with their projects, and there were numerous posts about how TC had sent letters saying not to use the WSM of big magnums like the STW on their receivers.

Default TC Encore PH

I bought the Encore 209x50 stainless from Russells Sports Dec. '05, In '06 the PH came out . If I would've known I would've waited. But at any rate, I really enjoy shooting mine. Along the way picked up some extra bbls., to include; .300 Win mag, .308 and .204. and just recently a PH .270bbl.
I've had no issues with re-zeroing each bbl except for maybe the .204. What I did do was buy from Bellm an oversized takedown pin, hammer & trigger springs and a lock spring. I also bought new PH syn stocks off ebay.
My only issues thus far have been with the 300WM bbl. and its recoil, I soon after devloped a flinch. Also, using good rings & mounts is another added benefit not too mention optics. I had a Bushnell Trophy on the .50 bbl. and after a yr it lost its zero. They did however send me a new scope which I sold and went with a Nikon Omega.
