Default RDR @ Tolman Bridge w/ pics!

So the kids and I decided it was way to nice out to just go home after school. So we went to throw rocks in the river aka Let daddy scout the river for Tuesday!

River is flowing pretty well but not as strong as I expected. The water is a lot clearer than I expected though. With the forecast for a warm but overcast day on Tuesday it just may be a fun day. If you are out fishing my neck of the woods look for a guy who is doing everything wrong and come say hello! Then I will very sneakily trick you into teaching me all your secrets.

Keep your hook wet!

(that sounds dirty)

Default boat launch on th rdr below tolman Bridge

I was wondering about a place to launch my boat below tolman bridge. The last time I was down there was after the big flood and there wasnt much left of anything until Drumheller. I was hoping not to go that far down. Thanks for any info.

There's a boat launch (albeit fairly sketchy) right at Tolman East.

Thank you for posting the pictures and offering your report.

I was actually standing on the boat launch at Tolman west when I took the pics. Looks like they just re-graveled it too. Road is in great shape. I didn't check the one at tolman east but it looked like fresh gravel as well. Tolman east is also a lot less steep than the one on the west.

If my memory serves, there are 2 launches, one on each side of the river. The one on the gun range side of the river was the better launch last year. Nothing fancy, and sometimes muddy.

*Edit*
Thanks for the picture update. I'm a little surprised at the clarity and flow speed of the river.
