And all have Legal Lights on them ? My VS380 I have shown to Wildlife officers and they say its perfectly legal, Due to the fact they do not Put out visible light ,

Again,. This is beating to death .

Yes buddy is right in the fact that visible lights are Illigal, I simply stated the fact that Most underwater Cams do not have visible light ....

ENDTHREAD/ ! LOL

Did you find that the LX9 Was worth the money ? I looked into it, And for the type of fish im after I usually don't need any Sonar or anything.

But is it actually as nice of a unit as guys say ? I would love one, But for the money I can save without the sonar was more appealing to me

like I said go into dark room. turn camera lights on if you can see without the use of a monitor they are visible. My blue leds light up the room so that I can see without the aid of the monitor.
How fussy the F&W officer is determines if you get a ticket or not I guess.

THESE are the after market ones I see all the time

I See , Im not even sure if that defines visible ,

I believe it has to do more with changing the effect of the water ?

Like I have seen pike and fish around my cam and I try to flash my light on and off and they don't do anything ?

Do you think visible in a room , would be the test they would base it off of ?

And again , Lights are pretty useless . I find anyways, so if I ran my camera for 100 hours , maybe 5 minutes of that would be with lights on ,

I seen little blue, red, white, and pink lights at TFH today for on a lure , They blink on and off, Would you risk it trying those , or are they legal ? I cant see them online, But ya, They looked like lights you attach to a lure ?

FFS , Now you got me thinking, I have seen guys use a glowstik underwater on there lines ? and they say its legal ?

LOL this opens another can ! lol

But thanks for the Input !

But, camera gives you a wider view when looking down

Plus 360 degrees if down at their level.

For anyone interested in the effects of EM fields on fish, there is a lot of research which shows that many fish species (especially well documented in the salmonids) are attracted to anodes, and likewise repulsed by cathodes.

Something to consider.

Google will turn up a lot of material as well as patents for lures impregnated with anodes.
