Default Spawning southern alberta

New to the area, been driving out around pincher creek and crowsnest venturing around trying to find trout spawning grounds just to take a peek at them. Any info in the right direction would help a lot I've been driving around for hours and hours finding little creeks with no luck yet.

Likely have better luck in the fall when they make redds and spawn. Unless your looking for rainbow spawning in which case your still to early. Brooks, browns, lakers spawn in the fall

Default Or......

You can take a step ladder... Go to the campground at Lundbreck Falls... Climb up a bit... And observe THE RAINBOWS that are currently spawning like nutZ inthe SPRING......

Really?....

PleAse note... This area is closed to fishing. Don't wade in.... Cause... Well spawning.. Ill bet you'd hate it if some big fish interrupted your 'gettin lucky' time.

Specially if it's only once a year......

..... Like us married folk .....

Farther down by the Rat hole (also closed) you might get to see browns and whitefish lining up behind the spawners to grab some eggs.... Pretty cool!

I knew there was a name for it.

And it happens on my birthday..... I should have figured it out along time ago.
