Default big game anatomy

just wondering, how many study big game anatomy,(eg arteries, vital areas, bone structure,) for fatal shots???
I know alot of hunters who study habitat and habits and not on what they eat or why,and also know nothing of the animals anatomy and how its built in porportion to its speicies and size, which do you study the most and why????
or do you study this area of animals at all

Every time I'm involved with the field dressing, and butchering of a critter my knowledge of that games anatomy is increased.

There are also many on-line and printed guidelines showing x-ray and 3D see through images of most big game animals.

There are some very good x-ray targets made by Champion Traps & Targets that I use. Kinda small, their whitetail looks like texas buck, but very useful.

Thumbs up

Big Game Anatomy by Wookie:

The head bone is connected to the neck bone.
The neck bone is connected to the shoulder bone.
The shoulder bone is connected to the leg bone
The shoulder bone is also connected to the rib bone.
The rib bone is connected to the back bone.
The back bone is connected to the hip bone.
The hip bone is connected to the leg bone.

So, there you have it. The anatomy of a big game animal. Works fer em all too!
