A video game??? Would never have thunk that.

I know I am a bit naive and behind the times. But that far? Wow. Is it time to go back to the bush and give up or do I need to put on a jet pack and virtual reality glasses?

Nah. Had me fooled at first too. Going airborne well before the jump's transitional lip was the first clue. Lanterns in the tunnels the next. Became a bit much after that. Oh, and I've filmed with a GoPro also, so could pick out some of the nuisances.

With that being said, it's never a bad time to visit the bush.

Where do you get that from?

It's a Candide Thovex video Filmed in Val Blanc, France.

He is notable for his unique, creative approach to the sport of freestyle skiing, and professionally has won numerous contests and accolades. He first caught the attention of the world of outdoor and action sports by jumping "Chad’s Gap", a massive transfer jump of 120 feet (37 m) from take-off to landing over a 40 feet (12 m) deep gully in Alta, Utah, US. His point of view videos routinely go viral on the internet and are viewed by millions. He is considered by many specialists to be one of the best freeskiers in the history of the sport

It bothered me to watch because I don't think it's a continuous film.

No doubt talented, but too much editing for my like. Guys are doing that all the time in ski and snowboard videos. Didn't see much difference from what I've seen.

If you want to see natural skill, watch Travis Rice snowboard.

Definitely not a video game.

He's a ridiculously talented freestyle skier, with a large history of making eye popping videos. Although the last three (One of those days series) of which is one, are definitely the most 'out there'.

Such a great watch.

Neet little video takes tallent to pull off. Alot of planing making that route and looks like he had a few practice runs. Fun to watch none the less.

This video nearly makes me crap my pants just watching it.

https://youtu.be/xlXk49Mh7go

Defiantly a no fall run. No second chances if you bail.

Cly. Dave2.0 Whew. Thanks for clarifying that the clip wasn't a video. I didn't want to believe I was that naive. And I was going to go out and buy one of those new fangled video console machines and a ski game.

Great clip too Jeron. Ultra extreme Rabbit Hill.

Watching it after another 14 hour night shift.

In fairness though, the premise is absurd and post production quality is poorly executed if their objective is to present what they have promoted.

Too much 'movie magic'. Too little respect for the laws of physics and the intelligence of viewers and fellow athletes.

Would have been better as a video game run. ...
