I wrote my exam online on boaterexam.com the other night. I used promotion code BSP 601 on boaterexam.com and got $10 off. I found the code here.

Default Rip off?

Dont want to hijack thread, but has any one ever been asked to produce said licence? I have had one for a couple of years and still question the content and usefullness of the course. I mean u can rewrite at the boat show untill u pass. Commercial boating, costal waterways, OK but a 12ft alum with a 9.9????? Seriously... a section on edicate at the boat launch would have been more beneficial!!!!!

Default exam

i agree about the boat etiquete, i ended up using the discount code and doing it online, in the end it came out to about $40, i wonder how much this is gonna change the attitudes of poor boat operators, i highly doubt it will. How usefull or enforcable is this on the avorage alberta pond, mabey out on coastal wateres or on huge extremely busy lakes like simcoe, i guess its like the gun registry. Anyways i challenged the exam and passed the first time, at least i got it over and done with.

thanx for all the input and discount code.

I got my license via boatersexam.com using a promo code I got from Bass Pro to get $10 off. But you can probably google and find these codes everywhere on the internet.

The cheapest I came to yet is another promo code for this same place but got from the boater and fishing show... $20 off instead of the $10. I would send you the code but do not have it with me. So with the $20 off it'll be $30 for a lifetime license. Still $40 isn't bad IMO.

I did mine at the sportsman show a few yrs ago. You dont pass you dont pay. A buddy went to the different booths doing it and made a deal for a cheaper fee but that was a while ago.
