Slow perch fishing at North Buck on Saturday. Lots of pike biting all day sure kept us busy, but they were all small. Missed a large burbot too. F&W checked us out and said no one was catching much. The boat lauch at the campground was getting a little dicey by the end of the day. Might be in its last days for vehicle access there.
I was there on Sunday and didn't do much better. I heard reports (and saw pictures) of some beauties being caught on the north shore, but I definitely didn't see that. Funny how word spreads...one party has a great day on a spot which had virtually no activity on it...3 weeks later the area has hundreds of holes drilled and dozens of people on it a day.
