My manager was just their with 3 friends. They didn't see anything until they got out and walked, and then the game presented themselves. Lots of everything but the rack they were looking for didn't get the memo.

He was contemplating harvesting a very heavy 2 pointer. Obviously not a trophy, but very interesting. The bitter cold made the decision for him not to shoot.

I saw pics of scattering elk herds and he mentioned a couple large bull moose, but all tags were for whitetails.

If anyone's seeing bull moose I'm all ears. The largest we found today was about 40" but had very weak pans so my brother wouldn't shoot it.

We only saw a 30" today, but couldn't get a shot. We are hunting with our wives who will kill almost anything.

We seen three Bulls today. One that was safe to shoot but was small and the 2 big ones were to tucked in the trees going the other way. Probably in the 40" class. Where was everyone seeing the bulls? We hiked hard today in the C areas thinking a new area on the base for tomorrow.

Saw zero cows which were our target quarry. One 30" bull near the commanders cabin tucked in out of the wind. Looking hard tomorrow in the B,C and circle areas.

Cold, windy and not much moving! We saw a bunch of elk, a couple of deer and a couple of cow moose today but no bulls which is what we're after. If anyone has any pointers on any bulls I'm all ears!

Sat for probably 4 hours today. Froze every part of my body. But saw 3 deer and 3 bull moose. Couldn't get a shot at the deer unfortunately, so I'm back out tomorrow.
I see lots of people are successful... Just not sure where/how their getting them.

Big cow moose and a pretty decent bull moose this am. It ain't easy but you gotta get out of the truck IMO. Put many miles on the boots.

For deer and elk absolutely. For moose I think you see more covering as much ground as possible.

We saw five moose and a half dozen deer. My brother got called back to work for tomorrow so he shot a small meat bull over in the annex an hour before dark. The only saving grace was we didn't have to pack him out and the winch easily sucked him in the truck for us.

All washed up and ready for the butcher.

Congrats to all of you! You're definitely a dedicated hunter to go out into the elements the way the weather has been. One thing to harvest your animal but then try to keep the hands warm while you clean it.

We saw a single mulie doe on Monday and not a single deer yesterday.
Walked a decent amount both days. It was cold so nothing excessive, maybe 5km a day. Hard when you have to dress so warm you get a sweat up after 15 minutes of walking. Ground was super noisy, we saw a LOT of sign but few animals. Should have been hunting moose.
