Just a whine
I believe you that where you hunt there is a shortage of deer. Not here in 206 we have seen 3 dead ones in the ditch so far and a good sized buck put my wf and her truck in the ditch.
Fate has intervened on my behalf, when walking the dogs to-day, I met a fellow who lives nearby and is a licenced trapper, and he was hunting coyotes. BTW he carries a 222. I showed him the most recent doe killed by a truck and he says he will use it as bait. At least it won't go to waste.
