I pulled the dock yesterday, and it was lots of fun in 3 foot +++ waves!!!
The Lake has "turned over" and the east side is pea soup as that is where the wind pushed the sunken algae.
That is all the stuff that comes up from the deep when the cold water on top pushes down and the warm water below rises. It will go down the river in the next day or so, and the water will be clear again. Too cold at night for algae blooms.
Water level has dropped a couple of feet so be careful launching.
Thanks Drewski, will maybe wait a few days to go up. On the other hand, was in Costco St. Albert and they had walleye fillets in stock. Grabbed a couple of pkgs for the winter. I hate it when I find this as I realize the amount I spend to fish and can bring 1 fish home.

You could buy halibut and lobster for the price of catching fish here in AB. Only worth doing for fun and keeping the odd fish is icing on the cake.
