yea they sure do look pretty good! I often used real perch eyes, they work really good. I will have to order some of these and try them also, thanks for sharing!

Jig heads look great. Not sure about the strength of that hook shank though, looks a bit flimsy although it may just be the photograph.Would be interested to know how strong they are once you receive them!

I’ll let ya know once I get them. Now that you point it out they do
Look a little weak. I bought the pan fry set as I almost always fish for perch in the winter but I’m after jumbos so the hooks still need strength. I’ll keep you updated.

Default new hooks for the box

When I put in my perch hook order last year from my go to "Fiskas" supplier, out of curiosity I also picked up 4 of those glass eye jigs (2 yellow & 2 green). They caught a few perch, a few pickerel. I can't say if they outperformed any other hook I have in the box, but they did put fish on top of the ice & that's all that matters. As far as the hook being weak, no different than any other jig.

Got the hooks in the mail today. They look great and the ones that glow are awesome. I think the hook strength will be fine. I imagine the larger sizes would have stronger hooks as the sizes I bought were smaller. Next time I post on this topic I hope to follow it with a bunch a jumbos for all to see.
