Default Which powder Q

To those who reload .38 Special and/or .357 Magnum, what have you found to be the best powder to use?

I have Hodgdon HP 38 or Win 231 in mind, but other opinions welcome. Thanks!

Rick

H110 or lil' gun are good powders. I like h110. I use it like Frank's hot sauce.

Default powder

In .38 Special it's hard to beat Bullseye or 231. In the .357 I have always used 296. If you decide on either of these powders I can give you some loads and probably the velocity, I am getting for each from a 6" 586.
