14 at pine coulee today by the boat launch, guys were starting to drive out although most were drilling first and driving out afterwords so that was good to see a little caution. Fishing was slow though only a walleye and a burbot.

So ive only been introduced to ise fishing a few seasons back making my knowledge of ice a little scarce thus my nerves a little shaky with these weather conditions. Havent been out yet and dying too but worried that ill get out there and it'll be too thin. Has this been an issue lately with the warm/cold?

I mean im willing to go as far south as Chain Lakes, north up to burnstick/Phylis or east out to badger/travers. But thats a 2 hr drive and i dont want it to be a waste of a fishing trip.
