Well you guys get a 1/2 thanks. Could of denied them 2 points but I guess I am happy with them only getting one.

As for 3x3 Some minor changes I want to see.
#1 play till its over
#2 no retreating. As a example, no going back over the red line once you cross over the opponents blue line.

The teams have gotten great at just controlling the puck and I believe the Red line rule would help keep the shoots going.

I did think about a shot clock but that may be the wrong idea.

Jamie

Crongrats Bessie. You guys don't deserve that level of heart break.

I know right, the perfect scenario. Give the Duck a point and still get 2 for the win. What an awesome night of hockey.

Thanks Jamie!

We really don’t deserve squat

Too many young guys standing around looking and NOT checking sticks... boxing out bodies.

They were like this last year.... only last year

We had a power play
Maroon could score
Lucic produced

The testicle and cajullia could put a few in the net.

Drai came on late.

We got some kinda speedster from the Preds.
We need a 1st rounder and an NHL ready prospect for Maroon.

We’ll get that.0

Too much money tied up in the top 3 centers, I wouldn’t mind seeing Hoffman come in exchange for RNH. Or even JVR from Toronto. And then there’s the lack of an offensive dman..

LOL. If you think you're getting a 1st AND a prospect for maroon, I have a bridge to sell you. Be lucky to get a second for him. Maroon is not getting a rick nash return

Now that's an attitude that guarantees it'll be a cold day in, well you know, before the soilers ever get another playoff run. Keep giving the teams in front of you points while you're trying to catch them. That's like standing in a bucket and trying to lift yourself up by the handle.

Once the salary's kick in next year they won't be able to sign a stick boy and stay under the cap.

The last few years are very similar at a point every second game. Edge to Nash as he didn’t playwith mcjesus.

I think the bigger issue with Maroon is prior to playing with McDavid, his career high for goals was around 11. If he gets traded, he obviously won't be playing with McDavid and I suspect will have more of a depth role. I would be surprised if they got a 1st rounder for him as well.

Wow, with knowledge like that to offer you should be a coach or GM.

It was a joke to poke fun at the Shames fans. IF we were chasing the Ducks or any other team for a playoff spot, then of course I would be ticked at them giving up the point. I fairly sure the Oiler's were not happy about the late goals AGAIN last night, and definitely would have rather the win in regulation.

Jeepers with the players on the ice the oilers should be producing, who motivates who? Who implements systems, tactics and pushes to execute this...the coach...the coach is failing, not understanding the players he has and what they can and can't do until they realize the problem this will continue to unfold....

It drives me crazy, something happens and the coaching staff bury their heads into the infloor monitors. By the time they look up, they are confused and don't have time to react to the situation. Call a time out, yell at the ref, do something.... Todd looked shell shocked the last 2 game just like at the end of "the game we do not speak of" in last year's playoff.

Looks like chia actually goterdone! I have to apologize to everyone however. I overestimated chias negotiating skills in thinking maroon would bring a 2nd. He only got a 3rd

That was the best offer too, and I suspect Jersey felt like they owed Edmonton something for the Hall Larson deal....

Disappointed Chia didn't also move Cammy at the deadline. Not like it's worth resigning him when he'll be 36 next year. Still has to have some value, even a fourth would have been fine. 27 pts in 54 games this year. For reference, Maroon only has 30 pts in 57 games.

Dont worry Bessie! The future is looking bright once mcd's contract kicks in next year!! Not to mention the oilers have almost no noteworthy prospects whatsoever! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but its a train

I'm just wondering what you expected? He was traded to the Oilers just two years ago for an unsigned 24 year old who never played in the NHL and a 4th round pick. Along side McDavid, he's worth more, but so am I. When he's not along side McDavid, his career highs are 11 goals and 34 points. I think Chiarelli's bigger failure is not trading him last year. Hard to do though, as they were suppost to make the playoffs this year.

Many years ago the press went crazy when Sather traded BJ McDonald after he had scored 48 goals in the previous season. Sather's reply was " a fire hydrant could score 48 goals playing with Gretzky" Much the same with Maroon, he virtually disappeared after he was moved off of McD's line

They weren't only going to make the playoffs, but win the cup. Not only the Stanley Cup, but the Grey Cup too!

Why is Edmonton in the NHL....playing like a AHL team.....or should I say they are coached like a minor league team....managed too....
