Default Choke tube unscrews, but won't come out

So... Bought a Stevens 512 gold wing from a member here. Very happy with the gun.. But.. Im trying to change out one of the chokes and it has a hard time unscrewing, I can unscrew it, but then she won't come out. Can't really figure a way to get leverage to pull it out. Don't want to take pliers to it cause the threads will wreck.
It screws back in ok. I can get about a quarter inch of the tube to show, but that's it.. She no go.

Anyone got any advice. I don't really want to be shooting pheasants with improved modified.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I'm a choke tube rookie.

Sounds like its not screwed all the way out. Lube the threads and screw it back in and out a few times to loosen it if its screwed out all the way. Stick a finger in the tube to twist and pull if you don't have a wrench.

Penetrating oil works very well, it sounds like there may be a bit of an issue with the threads.
Hit it with the penetrationg oil and unscrew it, if it starts to jam up back it off one thread and hit it with the oil again, and really put the force to it to get it out.
Hopefully it will come.

Ok... Well it's for sure not a thread thing, I can get it about 1/3 out, then whoa... She barely even twists.

Put the oil to it and I read that perhaps heat the barrel.
I'll try that.

But boy! She ain't comin!

When in doubt, use a bigger wrench.
