The Goldeye and Carp are biting downstream of Red Deer on small spinners. Look for them in the deeper water, the water is clear and you will see them from shore.

Upper red is pretty quiet. Was there Friday, couple of mountain whites and a brown.

Sunday was very slow, so packed around lunch and went to Bow river instead but friends caught tons of goldeye on Wednesday. Will go again on Sunday.

Water is as low as I can remember - at least below Drumheller. Are you talking upper Red Deer River?
