Just for some of your info.. I went on the Penticton Ramada website to see room rates and availability and there were NO ROOMS avail for the 20th to 24th (when I plan to go) for a double occupancy.

So I'm not sure if the tournament organizers have blocked off a section of rooms at the Ramada, or there are simply none available....

I guess that will be something to worry more about when the registration form shows up.

I will talk to the guys at Ramanda Inn and see what is going on. Also, the registration form will be out no later then next friday. Sorry, about the delay we had so political issues and it took people forever to answer yes or no.

I will be bring in some u2 pro formula to help keep the fish alive for people to purchase. I do recommend you have something in the live wells for the fish just in case it is hot out or you have a nice bag.

Let me know if you want some.

If the walleyes are looking for some and want to order a large amount. Let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Just wanted to let everyone know. We have added minn kota, st. croix, and hummin bird. Also, we will have buff's for sale from buff canada in their fishing series. We are also going to have u2 pro live well formula. This is gatorade for bass. It keeps them alive and healthy. Also, great for the walleye guys.

Nice hats.

Would there be any possibility of an increase in the prize $ depending on entries? This yr or next?

A large percentage is paid back to the teams on top of the first prize money.

Just want to let everyone know we are live now. You can register for the event. I will be sending out emails to all the people that have emailed me so far.

Here is the link to register is you want to print it off yourself and keep up to date with the event.

http://www.bassanglersofbc.com/portal.php

We are also going to have for sale U2 pro live well formula for sale and Canada buff also in the fish patterns. These are great for the cool morning and the hot sun.

The price for the 4 oz bottle U2 live well formula is $6.00 this will easily get you both tournament days. We will have extra if you guys want to bring some back to alberta or use it at another tournament. The Canada buff's will be around $23.00. Just cash for these items.

If any issues just let me know.

Do you think this tourney will sell out ahead of time?

I am really interested in checking this tourney out but I have to see if I will have the cash and if I can get the boat insurance all figured out. I would also probably be looking for someone to team up with that has bass experience since I have only fished for them once in my life.

I think you will be fine. We can find you a bass fishing guy no problem. He will also help split the cost for fuel and lodging so that will help you out a bit.

Well, guys we have started receiving cheques from a few teams. I want to see as many alberta teams as possible and show the bc guys up.

The ramada inn is going to be the host hotel. They are going to have special room rates and their pub is going to have food and drink specials. Molson and coors products will be on special starting the wed before the event.

They are going to have power hooked up for people to plug in their boats and they have the best parking in town. Most places no chance of even getting a boat in or out.

Any questions just let me know. Book early for the best rooms.

got curtis's cheque. Just wanting on more of the alberta guys. Hoping to see an alberta guy win. Anyone looking for a place to stay Ramada Inn Penticton is the host hotel. The special code when you call is CGBASS. There will also be food and drink specials for the event also.

They are going to have power hook ups also. They are doing a lot of extras to help us out. They have the best parking in town.

we are getting close to the event. Less then a month away. If anyone wants to make it in for the early bird prize make sure your cheques are post dated sept 1st.

Also, if your attending make sure you have working live wells, all your safety equipment, and your boaters card. They could be possibly checking. If figure better to warn people know then when it is to late. One last thing make sure you read the rules and check over the bc fishing regulations.

Well the event is less then a week away. Can't wait to see all the alberta teams there. The weather is looking great. Have a bunch of great prizes and should be a great time. Hope this leads to great things for bass fishing.

Well if everything goes according to plan, will be rumbling into Penticton by 1600 hours on Wednesday. Looking forward to a safe fun filled event. Good luck to all who have entered.
