Default Ze Germans are angry

So old girl merkel is accusing the us of spying on her and other European leaders. Saying things like this is low point in relations etc. Anybody else think a possible Russian German alliance down the road? I know it's just chatter at the moment but look at the history of angry Germans lol.

The USA is losing of what little credibility it had in the world. Its really said cuz I have a lot of American friends and spend a significant amount of my time there.

Obummer is spinning his wheels trying to straighten out this wreck that's been caused. I sure hope that the Republicans have a good candidate in 2016.

Yup, been said a million times, but they need to find a Ronald Reagan. 3 or 4 years from now we could be looking at Hillary and Justin running North America. (when I say running....I of course mean running into the ground)

Somehow I can't see much Pillow talk and heavy breathing happening during her phone calls.

They need an old style Republican in there for sure.

The sad pasrt is...Canada and the UK are not exactly clean here either.
We signed agreements with the US and probably got some of that intel ourselves... or is everyone forgetting Brazil a couple weeks back?
Further...we have probably made it even easier for the US to spy on us.

Or does anyone think that they stopped at ordinary Canadians?

Now the numpties want to get in bed with Red China.

Perfect...we gave the US cause to want to spy on us by cozying up with them and of course... the Reds can be expected to redouble their already constant efforts to infiltrate.
Naturally the best response to a country that has been trying to hack defense computer systems dozens of times per week for years...is to enter into bussiness with them...especially in the energy sector and even allow them to start buying bussinesses up.

My grandfather always said in my lifetime the 3rd try would happen, especially united Germany. He wasn't the biggest fan having permanent problems to his right arm and loosing a brother and brother in law. The long term effects of unification really bothered him. Granted there was a bit of bias in his opinion.

About the same likely hood as the Canadians teaming up with North Korea to sell more uranium!

Sorry Brownbomber, but I don't think you actually know what you are implying.

Good gawd, everyone is spying on everyone and everything these days, and they are all sharing the spoils. The USA has it's NSA, Canada has CSEC, other countries have their own spy organizations.

There's reasons for Glenn Greenwald to be hiding out in Rio de Janeiro.

It's about 60% sarcastic, I am implying the Germans aren't happy (true?) and America isn't popular in Europe at the moment (true?)
It's a laugh isn't it friend?

Germans are good soldiers... a european war with Germany would make Afghanistan look like a snowball fight....especially if they had Russia backing their play.

Guess we better be spying on the Vatican also. After all they're the ones who perpetuated the horrors of the Holy Roman Empire.

Its just not Germany, 21 countries and 35 world leaders have been spied on. Most of it has been phone calls being monitored. Merkels cell phone had been bugged from 2002 to 2013.

I doubt anyone in the world is immune to this. The average citizen would be really easy.

Everyone's doing what they can to get as much info on everyone. One country's indignation about it is hilarious, because they're probably doing the same thing.

Last thing I have read. French say they and everybody else is doing the same but Americans are way ahead of everybody in technology. That's why they are po'd.
