Remember how they made fun at Reagan's age when he was running for his second term? He was younger than Biden. Reagan had such a likable personality.
We had Mulroney,the English had Thatcher.
Things have gone down hill since.

I still remember the “Tax This Brian with a pic of the finger” bumper stickers, don’t remember him being too well liked.
Agree on Reagan and Thatcher..at least they made a person feel like things might be OK when they spoke on TV, even if they were lying. With any of the new crop they reinforce that everything is going to suck.
As for Donny T, yeah he isn’t the best, but I am glad Clinton lost, creepo Biden has pretty much lost his marbles, and people thinking that Obama was good for race relations haven’t talked to too many black people about him.
As mentioned there havent been good cadidates for a long time..just like here.

Back in the day I was getting annoyed with Mulroney. Joined Reform Party. Looking back he was pretty good compared to what came next.
He used to annoy me talking about how great things were because I knew it wasn't so for a lot of people. Now I realize how bad it would be for the country if a PM admitted in public that things were bad.
Was mad about GST . Now I see the GST as a better option than other taxes.
Meech Lake/ Charlottetown drove me up the wall but now I realize it was basically all talk and really didn't mean a whole lot.
Haha maybe I'm looking back at things with rose colored glasses.

Actually when I listen to the 2 speak I'd give Biden the nod in the "who uses more of their brain" department. Joe might not use as much of his as he once did but at least he had one to begin with.
