Butchers cheese cloth sacking and a canvas zipable over bag if it is dusty or out in the bugs for a long time. If just bugs and short term transport, pepper the meat before putting in the cheese cloth.

I used black ovis game bags for my BC goat hunt last month and was very impressed with them! Hopefully next year they'll be packing a sheep out!

Default game bags

Ive been using the same 7 Kuiu game bags the last three seasons with great results. The black ovis bags look to be the same for a bit less.

Good quality Linen sheets sewn into any size ya want or......big linen pillow cases.
Work fantastic, cheap, reusable.
Had mine for years on sheep goat and mountain alpine hunts early when flies are bad, no problems with blow fly eggs etc.

That's what I prefer. Been using them for years and years.

I hang the meat to let the quarters form a dry crust first, then bag them. If I'm going to be in camp for a while, otherwise just bag and transport.
