Vegas is just like any other American city now with regards to food and entertainment......but flights are still cheaper than anywhere else (LA, Phx, Miami, San Fran, S.D etc) and while we don't stay at the older cheaper hotels on the strip, they can still be had at a reasonable price.

The last few times we've been, haven't gambled at all. The kids like it too, on our way back from our Caribbean holiday instead of flying through Toronto, we're spending 3 days in LV. There is just so much to do. You name it, its there....except for the ocean lol.

We are here now, and likely for the last time, it’s really bad with prices since my last trip here in 2017.
I won’t give the hotel name but it one of the popular ones, so this is likely consistent.

Kuerig cups for the room are $15 ea.
A 1 litre water bottle in or out of the bar fridge is $25
We asked to put some of our own water in the bar fridge as there’s some room in there amongst the high price items,
it’s $50 to use the space in the fridge to chill your own water or snacks.
I guess ice in a bucket in an option.

3 more days and I’ll be able to come home and go chase bears around.

Coffee and water are expensive, the quilting scene is almost non existent, and they won't let you carry your knitting needles on the airplane.
Why do people even go to vegas?

I don’t get it.
Can get hookers everywhere.
Casinos everywhere.
I can even gamble sitting on the crapper while eating a pork chop.

Actually, my son and GF are planning a canoe trip on the Churchill river end of May. Fishing in Northern Saskatchewan is world class.
