Steven:
Very nice young man, very nice. Beautiful scenery. A trip like that certainly gives a man a sence of accomplishment.
An adventure well told, documented and appreciated by your fellow anglers.

I saw this long ago and it is cool to see again because this is the last fish in AB left for me to catch and hopefully Jreed and I will be making a trip to one of the few AB lakes with these beauties sometime in August.

Thanks everyone once again for the kind words on a rather old thread that has resurfaced.

Good luck: limit 1 over 35cm - and there isn't a 35cm fish in either of those lakes.

Great story Steven, and an awesome adventure! I hope to follow suit someday soon, although not sure if my knees would take me 13 1/2 hours! By the way, what lure did you use on your spinning rod? That sounds lucky, so far only heard of flies being used, gives me some hope if I don't learn to be any good at fly fishing right away...
