Default Fishing in Whitemud Creek?

Is there fish in Whitemud creek? I'm in Edmonton today and want to get some fishing in. Where I'm staying is very close to Whitemud creek. Can anyone tell me if I can fish there? What kind of fish are in there and what should I use. Thanks!

When I lived in Edmonton we fished the mouth of the creek at the NSR and caught Sauger and Pike. I'm sure you could catch Walleye too, but we never did. Not sure how productive fishing is upstream in the creek, probably a lot of suckers, I'd imagine. We fished with spoons and Rapala Skitters. Good Luck!

Thanks for the help! Didn't manage to catch anything. The water was pretty low. Have to try at the mouth next time!
